Welcome to Instinctive Creative!
We’re a family-run shop where each of us brings a unique craft and passion to the table. Together, we create handmade items that are both functional and full of heart.
Our story began back in 2007, when we started making crafted items for ourselves, family, and friends. For years, we poured love into our projects without ever selling them — until now. Opening this shop is our way of sharing those same creations with a wider community who values handmade quality.
Who We Are
Rick – the woodworker of the family. I design and handcraft wooden pieces like fishing rod holders, skateboard stands, pens, and other functional items. I love taking raw, natural wood and shaping it into something useful, long-lasting, and beautiful.
Vicki (my wife) – a talented fiber artist who brings warmth and softness into the shop. She crochets plush animals and makes other cozy fabric creations.
Violet (our daughter) – the youngest member of our team, but no less creative! Violet makes her own crocheted animals and adds her own flair to fabric crafts.
Together, we also experiment with laser and CNC work, adding precision and unique designs to our lineup.
